Hidden Hot Chocolate: Brick Alley Cafe

While we have been getting a pretty decent Summer (by Irish standards, anyway), we'll be thrust into the midst of Autumn before you know it.

I love sunny days with the best of them, but Autumn was and remains my favourite season. The swirling, coloured leaves. The crisp Autumn air as children clack to school in their polished black shoes, pencils sharpened at the ready. It's a time for conkers and cosy corners. Ideally, with hot chocolate.

Of course, hot chocolate's aren't limited to the colder months and if you're a lover that consumes them all year 'round, you need to get down to Brick Alley Cafe in Temple Bar.

A bit of a hidden gem, you've probably walked by this place as you cut through hoards of tourists as twee Irish music belts out from the bars. But any place that offer Parisian Hot Chocolates gets a special place in my heart.

All priced at 3.95, they have an extensive selection of decadent delights. As soon as the first golden leaf falls, I'm off to ingest some.

Xoxo
