TO DO: Irish Cocktail Festival
Last year, Great Irish Beverages brought us the first Dublin Cocktail Festival to our fair capital.
Unfortunately, I missed out on last years festivities, so I am delighted to see that they're back again for 2016 - and they're going nationwide.
Running from October 10th-15th, any licensed drink venue in Ireland can register for free to showcase one of the Irish spirits the group is working with.
I think it's a fantastic idea and a fun way for people to explore the variety of wonderful spirits we have on offer at home. There's an exciting list of participants, with gin, vodka and whiskey creators well represented along with everyones favourite childhood drink - Cidona. Now, doesn't that take you back?
